Example: 私 は 花 に 水 を やりました。 私 は 妹 に 新しい 鞄 をやりました・あげました。 Example: 1. 私 は 部長 に 手紙 を さしあげます。 N1 に N2 を いただきます Example: 1. 私 は 部長 に 旅行のおみやげ を いただきます。 2. 私 は 先生 に クリスマス カード を いただきます。 (私に) N を くださいます - is used when a person of higher social status gives the speaker something. - くださいます is used instead of くれます Example: 1. 社長 が 私 に クリスマスボナス を くださいました。 Giving and receiving of actions V て–form やります 1. 私 は 妹 に 日本語 を 教えて やりました。 2. 私 は 先生 に 日本語の本 を 貸して やりました。 て – form いただきます Example : 1. 私 は 先生 に 試験 の 答え を 手伝って いただきます。 て – form くださいます Example: 1. 先生 は 私 の 宿題の答え を 直してくださいました。 2. 課長 は 私 に 中国のおみやげ を 送って下さいました。 V て- form くださいません か Is a polite expression of request, although it is less polite than =て いただきませんか in lesson – 26.
